Nord Social isn't just a bar or a café—it’s a project of community for Midland, built with intention, heart, and a belief in the power of place.
Nord Social opened its doors in September 2025 and is set to be Midland’s newest third space created specifically with our community in mind.

Inspired by Nordic culture & tradition, Nord Social offers a cozy, breathable & welcoming environment that’s perfect for building community within Michigan’s beautiful climate; with a notion to provide comfort to all in rain, snow, or sunshine.

We specialize in Scandinavian-fusion cocktails, draft beer, a new neighborhood tradition of beer & a shot, and a carefully curated list of non-alcoholic options - all made with fresh homemade ingredients where we can.

We are thrilled to serve our neighborhood with intention, heart, and a belief in the power of place. Nord Social is a project of community built specifically for Midland and all of our fellow Michiganders. We prioritize events and collaborations with local artists and artisans, creators, food trucks, musicians, local non-profits, vendors and more to pair along with your new favorite cocktail or beer. Our specifically designed third space is meant to be enjoyed with your friends, family, loved ones, furry friends, fellow neighbors & newfound friends.
