Nord Social opened in late summer 2025 as a locally owned third place designed for connection, comfort, and community. Co-owned by Grant Murschel and Brad & Haley Tunney, Nord Social blends a modern, Nordic-inspired aesthetic with a deeply welcoming, neighborhood-first spirit. 

Inspired by Scandinavian culture and the concept of hygge, Nord Social is a cozy, breathable, and sustainable space built for gathering year-round—rain, snow, or sunshine.

Our drink menu features Scandinavian-inspired & classic craft cocktails, Midwest-brewed draft beer, a classic beer-and-a-shot (and a Nordic-version, too), and a thoughtfully curated selection of non-alcoholic mocktails and beverages. Everything is designed to feel both new and familiar, whether you’re stopping in solo or sharing a table with friends.

We make our drinks with intention, using fresh, house-made juices and syrups whenever possible, and sourcing from local makers and small businesses to support the community beyond our walls.

At its core, Nord Social is about the power of place. We host and collaborate with local artists, musicians, food trucks, nonprofits, and creators - fostering a new wave of events in Center City. Nord Social is a space meant to be shared by friends, neighbors, coworkers, newcomers, and longtime locals alike.
